Disability Support Worker - Brisbane South West

Harmony Support Australia is seeking experienced, compassionate, and resilient Support Workers to join our team to provide person-centred supports to an adult participant diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality, trauma-informed support while promoting independence, dignity, and community participation.

What you'll be doing

As a Support Worker, you will:
Deliver person-centred support in accordance with the participant's NDIS goals and preferences.
Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies built in Behaviour Support Plans (BSP/PBSP).
Build a trusting and therapeutic relationship with the participant.
Support community access, appointments, daily living skills, and social participation.
Maintain accurate case notes and incident reporting.
Work collaboratively with families, behaviour support practitioners, and the broader multidisciplinary team.
Promote a protected, respectful, and positive workplace at all times.

Confident in managing complex support needs.
Committed to delivering secure, respectful, and high-quality supports
Minimum two years experience as a Support Worker working with challenging behaviours, Autism, implemented PBSB strategies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue Card, First Aid & CPR, and Driver's Licence
