About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Administration Coordinator to work with our team Mondays to Fridays, collaboratively supporting the day-to-day operations of our small early childhood service. This role is ideal for a locally based and experienced administrator who values flexibility, teamwork, and a community-centred philosophy.
As Coordinator, you'll help support a team of educators and support staff who encourage children to become active participants in their learning and to develop self-confidence, a strong sense of belonging, and positive connections to their cohort and community.
This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including:
General Administration
Welcoming families, children and visitors to our centre
Ensuring effective communication with families and team members
Manage administrative systems, including correspondence and procurement of supplies as approved by the Service Director.
Process invoices and oversee enrolment documentation and immunisation records.
Manage staff and child attendance on the relevant systems,



and maintain the Hazardous Chemicals Register and Allergy Chart.
Ensure documents comply with the Service's management and confidentiality protocols.
Assist with children's records, re-enrolment, fee payments, and provide reception support.
Collaborating with team members to drive continuous improvement in operations
Child Safety
Child safety and maintenance of a child safe environment
Professional Conduct & Learning
Adhere to the Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics and Centre policies.
Engage in professional development and contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan.
Organisational Representation
Uphold the Centre's philosophy and always maintain confidentiality.
Workplace Health and Safety (WHS)
Ensure a safe work environment and implement WHS practices.
Follow emergency procedures and report any accidents or hazards.
About You
Fluent verbal and written English communication skills
Relevant qualifications in business, office management or educational discipline
3+ years' experience in an administration or coordination role within a service organisation
Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
Child Protection and Safety training (GECCKO)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Australian permanent residency or equivalent work authorisation
Current Drivers Licence
