Exercise Physiologist (Level 1 Graduate) – Live Athletic
Live Athletic is one of Australia's leading rehabilitation and high-performance facilities, specialising in data-driven rehabilitation for ACL and knee injuries, complex musculoskeletal rehabilitation, athletic performance development, and return-to-sport preparation.
We are recognised for delivering elite-level rehabilitation outcomes through the integration of Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, performance testing, and evidence-based exercise prescription within a true high-performance environment.
We are seeking a high-quality Graduate or Early Career Accredited Exercise Physiologist with a genuine high-performance mindset to join our growing team, in a full-time role.
This role is ideal for a Exercise Physiologist who wants to operate beyond the traditional Exercise Physiology model. You'll gain exposure across all aspects of clinical Exercise Physiology within a high-performance and rehabilitation environment.
You will work with professional athletes, youth athletes, general population clients, older adults, NDIS participants, Medicare clients, WorkCover clients and individuals managing chronic health conditions.
The Role
As you develop your clinical judgement and exercise prescription and assessment skills you will work across:
Exercise Physiology consultations
Medicare-funded Exercise Physiology
WorkCover rehabilitation
Chronic disease management
ACL and post-operative rehabilitation
Sporting injuries and musculoskeletal rehabilitation
Return-to-running and return-to-sport preparation
Facility-based rehabilitation and exercise coaching
One-on-one athletic development sessions
Group health and fitness sessions
Clinical rehabilitation exercise classes
Data-driven assessment, exercise prescription and progression
Facility floor supervision and client coaching
Our team works in a quick-paced, collaborative, high-performance environment focused on delivering exceptional client care and outstanding clinical outcomes.

Able to build strong relationships and trust with clients from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Comfortable coaching movement, exercise technique and physical performance within a busy facility.
Curious and committed to continual learning and evidence-based practice.
You must genuinely enjoy working on the facility floor with clients, not simply consulting clients in a treatment room.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology.
Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP), or eligible for ESSA accreditation.
Graduate or early career Exercise Physiologists are encouraged to apply.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, health and performance.
Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
Ideally,
applicants will also have experience or interest in at least one training discipline that underpins high-quality exercise prescription, such as:
Barbell strength training
Olympic lifting
Athletic development
Gymnastics strength training or calisthenics
Running and athletics
Pilates
Functional movement and corrective exercise
Non-Negotiables
High-performance, "do whatever it takes" mindset.
Exceptional work ethic and professionalism.
Commitment to delivering world-class client care and outcomes.
Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Positive energy and a strong contribution to team culture.
Growth mindset and willingness to continually improve.
A proactive approach to building relationships and growing your client base.
Demonstrate a commitment to your own physical development and wellbeing—you practise what you preach.
We want practitioners who take ownership, love coaching, love learning, and want to become elite in their craft.
Role Progression
We have a clear career pathway for the successful applicant to develop your clinical assessment and prescription expertise.
This role has been designed as a graduate development pathway, providing ongoing mentoring, structured professional development and exposure to a diverse range of clients rarely encountered in traditional Exercise Physiology positions.
You'll gain experience across rehabilitation, athletic development, health management and performance while working alongside experienced clinicians within one of Australia's leading rehabilitation environments.
