About 7D
We are a tight knit team based in Cockburn Central, Western Australia, who design, manufacture and overhaul mining pumps.
Our team is made up of engineers, fitters and project managers who established 7D Team in ****.
We have a passion for designing mining machinery that performs better, with minimal environmental impact.

What we are looking for:
Our stores and QA role is a key component of the workshop, ensuring every job has the right parts at the right time.
Our previous store-persons have relocated internally to engineering or mature age apprenticeships and we are looking for replacement to look after our stores and QA.
The ideal candidate is someone who is organised, reliable and proactive, has some QA experience, can read simple engineering drawings or is interested in learning to do so. They are someone who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly and wants to own this critical function.
Responsibilities:
Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries against purchase orders.
Performing rudimentary QA measurement tasks.
Picking, packing and dispatching parts to customers and site – properly documented and securely packaged.
Maintaining accurate inventory records and quality documentation.
Running stock counts and keeping the stores area organised and safe.
Coordinating priorities with the workshop and office.
Operating a forklift for loading, unloading and moving stock.

Flexible full-time hours
Whether 9-5pm is best for you, or if you are working around family life or study, we can build your 38 hours around it. That might be 7am to 3pm or 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Permanent, full-time role
We're looking for someone to become a long-term member of our team. Most of our team have been working together for 10+ years so we are in it for the long haul.

Training and support
We will provide full training our systems and the products we manufacture, and can arrange forklift certification if required.
We're looking for someone who understands the basics of stores or warehousing and wants to build on those skills.
You will own the stores function
We trust our people to do their jobs well and provide autonomy to make improvements.
If you enjoy making things run better, we provide the support and encouragement to do exactly that.
You will need:
Current Australian driver's license (essential)
Full working rights in Australia
Fluency in both written and spoken English
Previous stores or warehouse experience is preferred. Experience in logistics, inventory or a similar hands-on role will also be considered
Good organisational skills and basic computer literacy
Enthusiasm, energy and a genuine interest in taking ownership
Forklift licence is a bonus, however training will be provided
Ability to safely handle parts and materials up to 20 kg, with or without reasonable adjustments
