About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Registered Nurse Trainer – OSCE Preparation on a casual basis.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys mentoring and developing others. You will facilitate practical OSCE workshops, guide candidates through realistic clinical scenarios, and provide constructive feedback to help build their confidence and exam readiness.
Working closely with our education team, you will help deliver engaging, high-quality training that reflects current AHPRA OSCE requirements and supports internationally qualified nurses on their pathway to registration in Australia.

Days: Wednesday to Friday
Hours: 9:30am – 3:00pm
Commencement Date: Wednesday, 19 August ****
Key Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse Trainer – OSCE Preparation, you will:
Facilitate practical OSCE simulation stations covering clinical skills, communication, patient assessment and clinical reasoning.
Deliver engaging face-to-face workshops that prepare candidates for the RN OSCE examination.
Provide detailed, constructive feedback to support learner development and exam success.




Coach students in professional communication, time management, critical thinking and examination techniques.
Assist with the development and continuous improvement of OSCE scenarios, learning resources and training materials.
Foster a supportive, professional and inclusive learning environment.
Ensure training delivery aligns with current AHPRA OSCE standards and Charter Australia's quality expectations.
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current AHPRA registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse
or
have successfully passed the RN OSCE and be awaiting AHPRA registration.
Solid knowledge of the RN OSCE examination process and assessment requirements.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Confidence facilitating practical workshops and coaching adult learners.
A professional, approachable and student-focused attitude.
Desirable
It would be advantageous if you also have:
Previous experience delivering OSCE preparation or clinical simulation training.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****, TAE***** or equivalent).
Experience working with internationally qualified nurses.
Experience in clinical education, mentoring or workplace training.
