About the Opportunity
We are looking for a
Junior Tyre Fitter
to join our team at Coopers Plains.
No previous tyre fitting experience is required.
We are looking for someone with the right attitude who is reliable, willing to learn and enjoys practical, hands‐on work.
This is an entry-level chance where you will work alongside our experienced tyre fitters and receive on-the-job training in industrial and OTR tyre fitting.
The role would suit a
school leaver, young person starting their career, or someone looking to get into a hands‐on mechanical industry.
You'll start by learning the basics in our workshop and, as your skills and experience develop, you'll be trained across the different areas of our business.

Be physically capable and comfortable working in a workshop environment

Be willing to learn new skills and develop within the business
A
manual driver's licence
is highly regarded. Applicants working towards obtaining their licence are also encouraged to apply.
A forklift licence and Construction White Card are
not required to apply
and can be obtained as required.
What You'll Learn
With training and supervision from our experienced team, you will learn how to:
Fit and service industrial and OTR tyres
Work with solid and pneumatic tyres
Safely operate tyre fitting tools and equipment
Assist with forklift and industrial tyre fitment
Inspect tyres, wheels and associated equipment
Complete workshop and job paperwork correctly
Maintain tools, equipment and workshop areas
Follow workplace health and safety procedures
Assist experienced fitters with workshop and on-site jobs
As your skills develop, you'll be given more responsibility and the opportunity to become a capable Industrial & OTR Tyre Fitter.
