Accounts Officer

Join a well-established retail business in Nunawading as an Accounts Officer within a large global finance team. The Role
You'll be responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable process, working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives on accuracy, efficiency, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing.
Process and reconcile multi-currency transactions (AUD, USD and CAD).
Perform bank, credit card and general ledger reconciliations.
Maintain accurate financial records using Sage and internal systems.
Assist with month-end reporting and audit preparation.
Support cash flow, supplier payments and customer accounts.
Liaise with stakeholders across Australia, the US and Canada.




Provide general bookkeeping and finance administration support.
About You
Previous experience in an Accounts Officer, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or Bookkeeping role.
Experience using
Sage
(or a similar ERP/accounting system) is highly regarded.
Exposure to mu-currency transactions (USD/CAD) is advantageous but not essential.
Strong reconciliation skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
A proactive, adaptable attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
