is looking for a talented and ambitious Junior Homeware Designer / Homewares Designer with a passion for homewares to join our team. We are looking for the right person with the right experience. The role could be part-time, full time or contract based.

Our in-house design team is seeking a
Junior Designer
/
Designer
to assist in the creation of seasonal homewares ranges for our local and international customers. We work close to the Sydney CBD in Chippendale and are looking for an office-based team member to support our Head of Design.
What will your day look like:
Working with the Head of Design to;
Research global trends and create seasonal trend boards.
Create customer presentations.




Create of print designs for hard & soft homewares categories.
Deep etch & manipulate images for presentations.
Create technical specification packs to ensure accurate sampling and production.
Support the team to deliver season ranges.
Could this be you?
You have studied Graphics, Print, Product Design, Fashion & Textiles or another design related course.
You have a minimum of two years relevant experience as a homewares designer.
You have
print making design skills
including spot and all-over repeat designs. Drawing or hand painted skills would be an advantage.
You must be able to use the Adobe Creative Cloud package.
You must have experience with and a desire to learn a variety of AI design software and tools.
You are passionate,driven,and a creative individual with a strong eye for detail.
You are able to juggle projects that might have competing deadlines.
You thrive in a rapid-paced environment and still maintain creativity.
You have a keen interest in the latest trends in design and homeware.
You have good communication skills.
