We are seeking a skilled Final Trim GPS Excavator Operator to join a growing team delivering major civil infrastructure projects across Melbourne’s western suburbs. This is a casual-to-permanent prospect for the right candidate, offering consistent full-time hours, ongoing projects and excellent earning potential.

Key Responsibilities
Safely operate GPS-equipped excavators on civil construction projects
Perform high-quality final trim work to specification
Trenching and batter excavation
Bulk excavation and loading activities
Read and work from plans and GPS machine control systems
Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance




Work closely with supervisors and site crews to ensure project deadlines are achieved
Maintain a strong commitment to safety and quality on site

About You
Minimum 6 years experience operating excavators on civil construction sites
Proven final trim experience (essential)
Experience undertaking trenching, batter work and bulk earthworks
GPS machine control experience (highly regarded)
Current Excavator Ticket (essential)
White Card
Additional machinery tickets (loader, roller, skid steer, etc.) highly advantageous
Strong understanding of civil construction safety standards
Reliable transport and the flexibility to travel to various project locations
Excellent attention to detail and machine operating skills
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
