Glenview Industries P/L is seeking an experienced Metal Machinist to join our production team on a full-time basis in South Nowra, NSW. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machining equipment to produce high-quality metal components. As a Metal Machinist, you will play a role in ensuring our products meet required standards and are delivered on schedule to our valued clients.

Key responsibilities
Operate precision machining equipment to produce metal components according to technical specifications and drawings
Set up machinery, select appropriate tools and cutting fluids, and adjust machine parameters to achieve required tolerances and finishes
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machining equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Troubleshoot machine problems and make necessary adjustments to resolve issues and minimise downtime
Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for
Trade qualification or formal training in machining.
Able to operate conventional machining equipment in a production workplace




Must be able to read technical drawings.
Demonstrated ability to work to tight tolerances .
Ability to work safely and follow health and safety procedures consistently
Positive communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
