About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Team Leader to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Kingsgrove, NSW. As a Pastry Team Leader, you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of our pastry production, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency are maintained. This full time role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and contribute to the growth and success of our renowned pie brand.

Key responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate a team of pastry production workers, delegating tasks and providing guidance to ensure productivity and quality targets are met
Monitor and optimise production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Ensure all pastry products are prepared according to established recipes and quality standards
Identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks in the production process
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production, inventory,



and equipment maintenance
Collaborate with other team leaders and the production manager to share best practices and drive continuous improvement
Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to help develop the skills of your team members

What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience in a pastry production or team leader role in the food manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of pastry production techniques, recipes, and quality control standards
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with effective communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in using production equipment and data tracking systems
A passion for delivering high-quality products and a keen eye for detail
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, agile workplace
Every week is a long weekend, work Monday to Thursday
