We are currently seeking Full-Time/Part Time dedicated and experienced
Registered Midwives
for our Birthing Suites
As a Registered Midwife, your responsibilities will include:
Provide high standards of evidence-based midwifery care to women of varying ages and cultural groups.
Plan, assess, implement, and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with women, newborns, their families, and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes.
Supervise, direct, guide junior midwives and undergraduate students in provision of care.
Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs.
Understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service standards
The ability to work both independently and within a team structure.
The ability to always act in a professional manner.
Selection Criteria:
Relevant Midwifery/Nursing Qualification and current AHPRA Registration
Recent Midwifery/Nursing experience in an acute care setting
Outstanding communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
Robust organisational skills.
Demonstrated risk management and WHS
Ability to review and implement continuous improvement programs.
Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster
Other Requirement:
National Police Check
Working with Children Check
Proof of immunisation against specified Infectious Diseases, including COVID-19
