About the Role
Reporting to the CPO, you will be the trusted HR leader across a workforce of over 500 blue-collar employees, providing expert guidance on complex people matters while leading a small HR and administration team.
Key responsibilities
Acting as the principal HR advisor and strategic partner to the NSW leadership team;
Lead complex employee and industrial relations matters, including investigations, grievances, disciplinary processes and dispute resolution;
Manage enterprise agreement negotiations and ongoing industrial relations activities;
Develop workforce planning, succession planning and talent strategies to support business growth;
Providing expert guidance to business leaders on employee relations, and legislative compliance;
Coaching and influencing senior leaders to drive high performance, engagement and capability;
Manage workers compensation and return-to-work programs;
Leading, mentoring and developing the HR team to deliver consistent, high-impact outcomes; and
Utilise HR data and insights to support strategic decision-making.
About You
You're a confident,
well-spoken, engaging and commercially minded HR leader who is comfortable working with operational and executive leaders.
You will bring
Significant experience in a HR Manager or HR Business Partner position;
Strong employee relations experience within a blue-collar environment;
Experience with enterprise agreements and unionised workforces;
Proven ability to influence and partner with operational and executive stakeholders;
Robust knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice;
Exceptional communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills;
A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial acumen; and
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
