LUMA Gelato is looking for one more enthusiastic and experienced team member to join our Mooloolaba store.

At LUMA, positive energy, a strong work ethic and excellent customer service are essential. We are looking for someone who is hard-working, reliable and genuinely enjoys creating a great experience for customers.

Previous experience in the hospitality, café or restaurant industry is required.

Your role
Welcome customers and guide them through our self-serve gelato experience
Deliver friendly, attentive and effective customer service
Create a positive, energetic and memorable atmosphere
Keep the gelato machines, topping bar and customer areas clean and beautifully presented
Refill toppings, sauces, cups and other supplies
Process payments accurately and confidently
Assist with opening, closing and general store-cleaning duties
Follow all food-safety, hygiene and store procedures

What we’re looking for
Previous experience in hospitality, cafés or restaurants
A hard-working and proactive attitude




Positive energy and a naturally friendly personality
Solid customer-service and communication skills
Reliable, responsible and punctual
Comfortable working efficiently in a busy workplace
Strong attention to cleanliness and presentation
Willingness to learn, improve and receive feedback
Availability for afternoon and evening shifts
Weekend availability is essential
Availability during school holidays and public holidays is highly regarded

Our store operates between 10:00 am and 10:00 pm, so applicants must be available for a combination of daytime, evening and weekend shifts.
