Our small family-owned and run business requires a delivery driver for local, one-day and overnight trips delivering polyethylene rainwater tanks.
LR license required
Meal and Accommodation Allowance when overnight
No Stopping at Weigh-stations and No log book

MINIMUM Requirements
LR licence.
CONFIDENT driving a truck and trailer up to 17 metres in length, including wide loads (2.76m wide)
EXPERIENCE driving on country roads and able to assess whether the road is suitable for the vehicle and the load without damaging the vehicle
FAMILIARITY with strapping loads of all different shapes and sizes.
KNOWLEDGE of rudimentary vehicle mechanics
RESPECTABLE appearance - you are the face of the company

Trucks are flat-bed trucks and trailers up to 17 metres in length. Minimum of LR license required,



but some of our trucks require car license only. Must be confident driving a trailer and have a positive working knowledge of vehicle mechanics. Minimum of LR licence is mandatory. Training for unloading tanks will be provided as some heavy lifting (up to 25kg) plus manual handling of tanks is required.

Sub-contractor with ABN is preferred but full time casual MAY be considered. Immediate start for the right candidate.

Salary Details: ABN preferred. Hourly rate plus super. Casual may be considered(Casual Rate)
