About You
A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Experience in structural engineering, ideally within temporary works, crane foundations, or construction engineering.
A solid understanding of Australian Standards and structural design principles.
Experience preparing engineering calculations, reports, and documentation.
Confidence working with builders, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to engineering.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Chartered status, or working towards it, will be highly regarded.
About the Role
Design temporary works including crane bases, pile footings, shoring, and back-propping systems.
Prepare structural calculations, reports, and engineering documentation.
Work closely with contractors and site teams to deliver practical engineering solutions.
Carry out site inspections and provide technical advice during construction.
Ensure designs meet Australian Standards and project requirements.
Build strong working relationships with clients and project teams.
Contribute to a variety of projects from concept through to construction.
