Jigsaw OOSH is seeking a dedicated Nominated Supervisor to lead our Out of School Hours (OOSH) service, ensuring excellence in operations, compliance, and program delivery.

About the role
As the Nominated Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our OOSH service. You will lead a team of educators, ensuring a high-quality, compliant, and child-centered program. You will maintain strong relationships with families, the school community, and regulatory bodies while driving continuous improvement within the service.
The Service is open 7:00am - 9:00am and 3:15pm -6:00pm Monday to Friday. Administrative time is worked around these areas to ensure focus on the children, staff and families during operating hours.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the OOSH service in line with Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and National Quality Framework (NQF).
Implement and oversee educational programs that align with the My Time, Our Place learning framework.
Ensure compliance with all licensing, accreditation,



and workplace safety requirements.
Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and support to a team of educators to foster professional growth and high-quality practice.
Manage rosters and staff development in collaboration with management.
Oversee child safety, welfare, and wellbeing, ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to.
Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, school personnel, and the wider community.
Handle administrative duties, including compliance reporting, attendance records, incident management, and centre budget.
Previous experience in a leadership role within an OOSH or childcare setting.
Sound knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and National Quality Standards.
Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
Foundations of Child Safety Training
Child Protection Qualification (CHCPRT025)
Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
Ability to build a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for children and educators.
