About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and driven Data Analyst that is familiar with Python to support critical programs within a complex and high-impact environment.
In this role, you will transform large and complex datasets into meaningful insights that enable informed decision‐making. You'll play a key role in identifying trends, solving business problems, and improving how data is collected, analysed and used across the organisation.

This is a full‐time opportunity that can be based at our Osborne site in SA or Henderson site in WA.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insights
Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns and risks
Deliver clear, accurate and timely reporting to support decision‐making
Translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders
Develop dashboards and reports (e.g. Power BI) tailored to business needs
Standardise performance metrics and reporting frameworks
Present data in a clear and engaging way for varied audiences
Data Solutions & Modelling
Build and maintain analytical tools, models and simulation frameworks
Support development of value stream simulation models and scenario analysis
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and data needs
Work with IT teams to enhance data systems and access
Identify opportunities to improve data processes, tools and methodologies
About you
You are a curious and analytical thinker who enjoys solving complex problems and working with data to drive outcomes.
Experience with SQL, Python or R, and data visualisation tools such as Power BI
A well‐developed understanding of software development as you will be maintaining software packages
Previous experience managing small teams is desirable
Experience in a Data Analyst or similar role
Strong statistical, mathematical and analytical capability
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
Ability to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex insights clearly
High attention to detail and accuracyAbility to prioritise and manage workload independently
Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving
Tertiary Quals in STEM (or equivalent) or equivalent industry experience
Previous experience working in the defence industry is a bonus but not essential
In the absence of defence industry experience,
you will hold ERP system experience
Previous experience in a large‐scale MRO process driven environment will also be desirable
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
