About the Role
As a Food Service Assistant with Talent Quarter, you'll support the daily food service operations within residential aged care facilities, ensuring residents receive nutritious meals and excellent service in a clean, welcoming setting.




Your responsibilities may include:
Preparing and serving meals, snacks and beverages
Assisting residents during meal service
Setting up and clearing dining areas
Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and infection control
Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen and dining areas
Supporting kitchen staff with general food preparation
Delivering friendly, respectful and person-centred customer service
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a Food Service Assistant, Kitchen Hand or Hospitality Assistant within aged care, healthcare or hospitality
Minimum 6 months' experience preferred
Food Safety Certificate (highly regarded)
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current National Police Check
Current influenza vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination in line with client requirements
Full Australian working rights
Currently residing in Australia
A positive attitude, strong work ethic and a genuine passion for supporting older Australians
