Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer specialising in the design, fabrication, and supply of high-quality steel infrastructure products used across the utilities, telecommunications, transport, lighting, and construction industries. With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service, they are continuing to grow and are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join their team.
As a Warehouse Assistant, you’ll play an significant role in ensuring warehouse operations run safely, efficiently, and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming goods.
Organise stock using First In, First Out (FIFO) principles.
Maintain accurate stock control and participate in stocktakes.
Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
Ensure products are correctly labelled and stored.
Assist with dispatch and general warehouse duties as required.
About You:
We’re looking for people who:
Have a robust work ethic and a positive attitude.
Can work independently and as part of a team.
Have positive attention to detail and organisational skills.
Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks safely while maintaining a robust focus on workplace safety.
Hold a current forklift licence
Have previous warehouse, manufacturing, production, fabrication, or industrial experience (preferred but not essential).
