We're on the hunt for a Civil Labourer to join a busy Council infrastructure crew in Yeppoon. If you're reliable, safety-focused, and ready to roll up your sleeves, this could be your next long-term prospect.
What's on offer?
$42.00 per hour + Super
Monday to Friday
6:30am - 3:30pm
Immediate Start
Work with a supportive, experienced team maintaining and improving local infrastructure.
What you'll be doing
Construction and maintenance of Council infrastructure and assets.
General labouring duties across a variety of worksites.
Operating vehicles, machinery, hand tools and small equipment.
Completing pre-start inspections and basic equipment maintenance.
Reporting equipment defects and safety concerns.
Working safely as part of a multi-skilled team.
Providing outstanding customer service when interacting with the public and colleagues.
Completing timesheets,
vehicle logbooks and other required paperwork.
Attending training when required.
What you'll need
White Construction Card (Essential)
Open Class C Driver Licence (Essential)
MR Truck Licence (Highly Desirable)
Experience using small machinery, hand tools and two-way radios.
Ability to follow instructions and work with general supervision.
Basic literacy and numeracy skills to complete records and reports.
A strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
