A timber wall framer / carpenter position is available at Westside Timbers, a Toowoomba based company supplying pre-fabricated timber roof trusses and wall frames as well as a range of other structural timber. Your Knowledge, Skills and Personal Attributes are to include:
Experience in safe operation of nail guns and saws
Ability to assemble wall frames from shop drawings
Willingness to comply with WH&S; policy and tool box meetings.
An immense attention to detail and accuracy
Passion for professionalism about your work
A current driver's licence
Have your own transport
A reasonable level of fitness is required
Able to receive and process instructions
Reliable, confident and able to work in a team workplace.
Current forklift licence is beneficial
Relevant certification combined with recent experience in carpentry is beneficial.
Brand new premises with contemporary facilities opening in approx 4 weeks.
Prospect exists to learn other skills and machinery within the plant.
