Our work focuses on supporting children and young people through critical transitions in their lives. We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Support Workersto join our Residential Care team.
About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, trauma-informed care and support to children and young people living in residential care settings. You will play a vital role in helping young people feel safe, valued, and supported while encouraging their personal growth, wellbeing, education, and community engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing day-to-day care and support in a residential setting.
Building positive and professional relationships with children and young people.
Supporting participation in education, employment, recreation, and community activities.
Assisting young people to develop independent living and life skills
Maintaining accurate records and reports.
Working collaboratively with families, carers, case workers,



and other stakeholders.
Implementing individual crisis support plans and behavioural support strategies.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work effectively within a team and independently
An understanding of trauma-informed care
Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays
Relevant qualifications or experience in Community Services, Youth Work, Child Protection, or a related field (desirable)
Mandatory Requirements:
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Cert IV Child & Family Intervention (or - Willingness to Enrol)
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain)
National Police Check
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (desirable)
Current Australian Driver Licence
