About the opportunity:
We're looking for a dedicated Grounds and Maintenance Officer tohelp keep our Retirement Village running smoothly and looking itsbest. In this hands-on role, you'll complete general buildingmaintenance, use equipment like ride on movers and tractors andmanage the upkeep of our beautifully landscaped garden areas,ensuring a safe, welcoming, and well-presented environment forresidents, visitors, and staff alike.
Your day-to-day will involve:
Perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, andorganise contractors when needed
Care for lawns, gardens, paths, and outdoor areas to a highstandard
Carry out routine tasks like rubbish removal, guttercleaning, watering, pruning, and planting
Maintain tools and ensure safe handling of equipment andchemicals
Keep accurate maintenance records, support regulatorycompliance, and uphold safety procedures




Assist with stock control and basic admin such asprocessing invoices and keeping registers updated
Work as part of a friendly, multidisciplinary team thatvalues cooperation and respect
About you:
Demonstrated experience in general gardening andmaintenance
Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety Standards andrequirements relevant to grounds and maintenance work
Knowledge of and experience in gardening andgroundskeeping
Ability to use power garden tools and a ride on mower
Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
