To be suitable for this role we are seeking
Female applicants
who have the capacity and flexibility to be available for regular active night shifts (specifically Sunday & Monday nights) and irregular shift coverage for afternoons, weekends and school holidays.
Those with limited availability will not be considered for this role.
The role also involves a high level of domestic duties and pet care incorporated in the night support shifts. Must love animals!
The successful applicant, when covering day shifts and weekends will be enthusiastic, young or young at heart and ready to be active to accompany a teen on all thing's teens love, bike riding, swimming, amusement rides and after school activities and in line with the parenting preferences of her Mother.
Qualified or life experience supporting people with ASD will be highly regarded for this role.
Casual SCHADS Award Weekday rate for applicants who hold a relevant qualification $***** to $***** depending on level of qualifications and experience.
Applicants without a formal qualification, with experience or working towards a qualification in the industry may be considered for this role and paid according to the Casual SCHADS Award $***** - $*****
Rosters are published 4 weeks in advance and we value committed and loyal staff.

NDIS Worker Orientation Module
Infection Control Training
Valid Driver's Licence
Safe, reliable and good condition vehicle with comprehensive insurance
Essential Skill Requirements
Demonstrated experience (6+mths), knowledge and understanding of people living with disabilities.
Experience supporting teens/young adults.
Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Excellent communication skills, with fluent English skills and a strong work ethic
Experience providing respectful supports within a person's home and a range of settings
You may be required to drive Client's accessible van on occasion.
Highly Desirable
Demonstrated experience, knowledge and understanding of ASD
