Role & Responsibilities
Agile Facilitation:
Lead agile ceremonies, stand-ups, and delivery planning sessions to optimize performance across parallel, multi-disciplinary workstreams.
Delivery & Milestone Tracking:
Keep delivery moving efficiently against agreed delivery dates, precisely tracking milestones and performance metrics.
Governance & Progress Reporting:
Interface directly with departmental governance and change processes to deliver transparent progress reports tailored for executive stakeholders.
Risk & Impediment Management:
Proactively identify, track, and mitigate technical risks, complex dependencies, and project blockers.
Resource Optimization:




Coordinate specialized resources across teams and smoothly manage staff transitions whenever operational priorities or team structures reshuffle.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this position, you will ideally bring:
Experience:
Proven delivery leadership experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead within a complex enterprise setting.
Technical Toolkit:
Strong capabilities in risk, issue, and dependency management, backed by the ability to translate technical delivery metrics into clear business outcomes.
Core Capabilities:
Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-vendor environments and blended teams without direct line authority.
Government Delivery:
Prior experience delivering programs within the Australian Public Service (APS) ecosystem.
Desirable Background:
Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Jira administration, alongside exposure to large-scale application migration or decommissioning programs.
Eligibility & Clearance Requirements
Security Clearance:
Due to the secure nature of this federal government environment, candidates
must hold a current Australian Government Security Clearance
or, at a minimum, be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain one.
