About the role
This full-time position is based in the workshop at the Narrandera Shire Council Works Depot, Barellan Road Narrandera. The position involves maintaining Council's assets according to Council's policy and procedures and
Work Health & Safety Act and Regulations and Australian Standards. Fabricate
any item requested by Council within guidelines for Council use.
Duties
Fabricate and Maintain Council's Built Assets-
By ensuring all assets owned by council are repaired and maintained in good working order in accordance with Council's policies and manufacture's specifications and Australian Standards.
Administration-
By accurately building Council's Asset Database Register in accordance with Council's policies and procedures.
Coordinate Daily Activities-
By coordinating daily activities undertaken by the position to achieve the expected objectives and outcomes determined by Council, including WH&S; compliance, customer service and works program delivery.
Communication-
By providing timely reports to the Plant Coordinator on progress of fabrication maintenance and repairs.
Teamwork-
By productively contributing to the outcomes of the Workshop team.
Enterprise risk and WH&S-;
By understanding the enterprise risk and WH&S; aspect of Plant and Work Areas.
