APG Workforce are currently seeking an experienced
Welder (TIG)
for an exciting prospect based at the Homebush Rail Equipment Centre.
Location:
Homebush, NSW
Start Date:
ASAP (pending checks)
Duration:
6 months (with potential extension)
Hours:
7:15am – 3:45pm, 38 hours per week
RDO:
1 RDO every 4 weeks (no 9-day fortnight)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform
TIG welding
on stainless steel (up to 6mm thickness) in line with Australian Standards
Ensure all work meets strict quality and safety standards
Work collaboratively to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
Strong experience in TIG welding (essential)
Experience with MIG welding on mild steel
Solid fabrication skills
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Must have own welding helmet (all other equipment provided on-site)
PPE Requirements:
Safety boots
Welding helmet
General PPE
