Job Description
The position primarily supports a key segment of our Cat Technology portfolio, customer coverage across Australia and New Zealand territories, working as part of a global diverse team driving our people strategy.
This position will report to the Human Resources Manager based in the United States.
Principal duties and responsibilities
Collaborate with HR Service Delivery and Talent Acquisition functions to ensure a coordinated approach to talent, workforce, and people strategies.
Assist managers in addressing individual and organisational effectiveness issues.
Provide direction and guidance to employees and leaders in the interpretation and application of employee‐related policies, practices and procedures, as well as laws if applicable.
Be a trusted advisor to the leadership team within the Cat Technology group.
Lead local and global projects on people matters.
In partnership with leaders, provide talent development solutions to improve employee engagement, leadership acumen and business results.
Operate at both a strategic and operational level, managing HR initiatives while also supporting day‐to‐day administrative and transactional HR requirements.
Qualifications
University degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Prior working experience in Human Resources function.
Must be proficient in the full MS office suite.
Experience with Workday will be an advantage.
Labour law and regulations governing the Human Resources function.
Sound understanding of human resources policies, practices, and procedures.
Effective communicator with the ability to work across all levels of the organisation.
Excellent customer service with strong stakeholder skills.
Highly organised with excellent administrative capabilities and a proven ability to manage HR processes, documentation, and data accurately and efficiently.
Demonstrated ability to analyse situations, make decisions and take measured risks using available data as well as insight.
Proven ability to maintain high‐level of confidentiality and dealing with sensitive issues.
Demonstrated knowledge of total rewards strategies and market remuneration practices, with the ability to analyse compensation data, benchmark roles, and support informed workforce and reward decision.
Experience with Workday, Teams and SharePoint is desired or other similar people management systems.
