We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bricklayer to join our agile construction team on high-profile residential and commercial projects across Australia.
As a Bricklayer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity, aesthetic quality, and timely completion of masonry work.
This position demands precision, craftsmanship, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
You will be responsible for laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry units with accuracy, using both manual and power tools, while adhering to architectural plans, building codes, and site specifications.
Your expertise will directly contribute to the durability and visual appeal of finished structures, making you an essential part of our project delivery success.

Responsibilities:
Interpret and follow architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate masonry construction.
Prepare and set up work areas, including scaffolding, platforms, and material staging, in compliance with safety regulations.
Mix, apply, and manage mortar and other bonding materials according to project requirements.
Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units with precision, ensuring proper alignment, levelness, and structural integrity.
Cut, shape, and fit masonry units using hand tools and power equipment such as angle grinders and masonry saws.




Install lintels, reinforcement, and other structural components as required.
Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to ensure efficiency and safety.
Collaborate with supervisors, site managers, and other trades to coordinate workflows and resolve on-site issues.
Conduct quality checks on completed masonry work to meet project standards and client expectations.
Adhere strictly to OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) protocols and site-specific safety procedures.
Requirements
Minimum 4–5 years of hands‐on experience as a bricklayer in commercial and/or residential construction projects.
Formal qualification in bricklaying or equivalent trade certification (e.g., Certificate III in Bricklaying or equivalent).
Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Proficiency in using hand tools (trowels, levels, mallets) and power tools (masonry saws, grinders, mixers).
Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards (including AS/NZS and local council requirements).
Demonstrated attention to detail, craftsmanship, and commitment to high‐quality workmanship.
Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions and elevated work environments.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours as project demands require.
Experience working on large‐scale or complex masonry projects is highly desirable.
