Financial Accountant | Fixed Term Contract to October 2027

About the Role

Reporting to the Group Accountant, you will take ownership of financial reporting across a portfolio of entities while working closely with stakeholders across the business.

This is a hands-on role offering plenty of variety, combining financial reporting, compliance and process improvement within a supportive and experienced team.

Key responsibilities
Preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports
Revenue reporting and month-end reconciliations
Balance sheet reconciliations and audit support
Preparation of tax workpapers
BAS, Payroll Tax and FBT compliance
Bank reconciliations
Supervision of an offshore Accountant
Supporting broader finance activities and process improvements

About You





You are an experienced Financial Accountant who enjoys taking ownership, building relationships and working as part of a team-oriented team.

You will bring:
CA/CPA qualified (or working towards) with experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role
Strong month-end reporting and reconciliation skills
Experience with ERP systems, with Dynamics NAV or Business Central highly regarded
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
A proactive mindset and continuous improvement focus
