About the Role
An exciting opportunity to work as part of the End-of-Life Essentials (EOLE) team, responsible for delivering two key projects aimed at improving the delivery of end-of-life care through the development of education and resources to support health professionals working in acute hospital and general practice settings.
Working under the direction of the National Project Manager, the Website and Systems Officer will play a key role in delivering project outcomes by ensuring EOLE's online education and resource platforms remain accessible, current, and effective.
This includes system and website maintenance, undertaking regular maintenance, updates, and enhancements on the EOLE website and other information systems, including troubleshooting technical issues, and undertaking regular reporting.
Responsibilities also include:
Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to the EOLE Project and University.
This includes engagement and collaboration with health services and health professionals across Australia to improve access and utilisation of EOLE education and resources.
Work collaboratively with external Learning Management System (LMS)



provider to deliver and establish workforce reporting capabilities for health services and embed EOLE education with external learning platforms.
This includes providing technical support to stakeholders, troubleshooting and escalating system issues for resolution.
Supporting the Chief Investigators, National Project Manager, and team to implement activities under the project's /Activity Work Plans to meet key project deliverables.
Work collaboratively to establish positive working relationships with members of the EOLE team, across the University, other National Palliative Care Projects and other key project collaborators.

About You
A tech savvy individual, you are proficient with a range of computer applications, information systems, and adept to learning new technologies, enabling you to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise.
Your ability to adapt to changing roles and responsibilities whilst working autonomously, demonstrates your flexibility, strong organisational skills, and capacity to prioritise tasks effectively while consistently meeting deadlines.
In this role you will also be able to demonstrate:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear explanations and advice to non-technical users.
Experience in liaising, engaging and developing effective working relationships and networks with a wide range of management, staff, education specialists, software developers and stakeholders (e.g. hospitals).




Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively within a cohesive team context and with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge and experience in working in the project field of end-of-life care in acute hospitals (desirable).
Experience in the design and delivery of online learning (desirable)
You will also have completed a degree with subsequent relevant experience; or and equivalent combination of experience and/or education and/or training.
