We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glazier to join our dynamic construction team.
As a Glazier, you will play a critical role in the installation, repair, and maintenance of glass components across commercial and residential projects.
Your expertise will ensure structural integrity, aesthetic quality, and compliance with safety and building standards.
This role requires precision, technical proficiency, and a strong commitment to craftsmanship.
You will work closely with architects, builders, and project managers to deliver high-quality glazing solutions that meet project specifications and deadlines.

Responsibilities:
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine glass installation requirements
Measure, cut, and shape glass to precise dimensions using specialized tools and equipment
Install glass panels in windows, doors, facades, and structural glazing systems using adhesives, sealants, and framing components
Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and sealing of glass elements to meet safety, weatherproofing, and energy efficiency standards
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements of existing glazing systems
Adhere to strict health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site
Collaborate with project supervisors and tradespeople to coordinate installation timelines and resolve technical challenges
Maintain accurate records of materials used, work completed, and equipment maintenance
Conduct pre-installation site inspections and prepare surfaces for glass installation
Requirements
Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience in glazing within the construction industry
Formal trade qualification or apprenticeship in glazing, glass fitting, or a related field
Proven ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
Proficiency in using power tools, glass cutters, suction lifts, sealant guns, and safety equipment
Strong understanding of building codes, safety standards (including AS/NZS **** and AS/NZS ****), and workplace health and safety (WHS) practices
Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality craftsmanship
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
Experience with structural glazing, curtain wall systems, and insulated glass units (IGUs) is highly desirable
Additional Notes:
This role may require occasional overtime and weekend work depending on project demands.
On-site safety training and compliance with site-specific protocols are mandatory
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in high‐rise or commercial construction projects.
