About the Role

We are looking for a enthusiastic Optical Dispenser or Optical Assistant to join our team. We are a well-established independent optometry practice where outstanding service and strong community relationships come first.

This role offers approximately 10–15 hours per week, making it a fantastic fit for someone looking for great work-life balance and long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities

Frame & Lens Selection: Assisting customers with frame styling and optimal lens choices.

Order Management: Dispensing and accurately ordering spectacle and contact lens jobs.

Practice Support: Handling general administrative duties, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing incoming queries.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: Prior optical dispensing or optical industry experience is highly preferred.

Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and a warm, customer-focused approach.

Solid computer skills: for managing patient records and orders.

Initiative: Able to work efficiently and problem-solve independently.

Flexibility: Willingness to work Saturdays as needed (preferred).
