Driveline Auto Repairs is seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic / 4th Year Apprentice to join our team in New Town, TAS. As a full-time Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality automotive repairs and maintenance services to our valued customers. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a reputable and growing company in the Automotive Trades industry.

What you'll be doing
Diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical issues in vehicles
Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on vehicles
Test and replace parts as needed, including brakes, engines, transmissions, and more
Use a variety of tools and equipment to efficiently complete tasks
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed
Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair methods
Engine and Transmission overhaul

What we're looking for
Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience as a Motor Mechanic
Robust technical skills and knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures




Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of mechanical issues
Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
A valid driver's licence
