Assistant Accountant
to join our team at our Sydney Olympic Park Head Office.
About the Role
Reporting to the Accountant, you will assist with the day-to-day financial operations of the business and support the finance team across a range of accounting and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
Assist with month-end and year-end reporting and closing processes
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Support payroll administration and related reconciliationProcess employee expense claims and reimbursement




Assist with compliance-related tasks
Liaise with internal departments and external parties to resolve financial queries
Assist the accounting team with ad-hoc tasks as required
About You
An Australian bachelor/ master's degree in accounting
1-2 years' experience in accounting or finance role preferable
Experience using accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
