The Role
We are seeking a well-organized and self-motivated Project Administrator to join our Mackay Office. The successful applicant must be prepared to become involved in a variety of tasks such as.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Project Team with general administration requirements.
Logistics and scheduling.
Quoting small works
Assisting with tendering.
Reporting based on the needs of clients.
Chairing, minuting, and writing agendas for meetings.
Liaising with clients and other stakeholders.
Assisting with monthly OHS reporting requirements.
General Administration duties, including answering phones and data entry.
On boarding/mobilization of employees to and from site
Accounts payable/receivable and general accounts related duties
Experience with Invoicing & Progress Claims
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will need to have a drive to succeed and a willingness to learn and grow with the business. You will ideally have previous administrative experience, with high-level attention to detail and accuracy.
Understanding and respect of deadlines
Experience in the mining industry in an administration capacity is preferable but not a must.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic team player
Well-developed time management and organizational skills
Intermediate Computer skills, Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Knowledge of the following systems is desirable but not a must.
Demonstrated ability to work Effectively within a Team with minimal supervision.
Experience in Project administration desirable but not a must
