About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedMaintenance Supervisorto join the team.
You will be responsible for all Plant, Equipment and Facilities ensuring Animal Welfare, WH&S;, Quality Systems, Environmental and Legal requirements are met, whilst still delivering optimum reliability and compliance with effective use of assets and human resources.
Duties will include:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve overall efficiency
Parts interpreting and ordering
Oversight of projects and installations
The ideal applicant should possess:
Certified Maintenance Fitter and/or Certified Electrician with relevant qualifications
Proven experience in an Industrial or manufacturing setting
Repair, change and improve machinery while ensuring principles of HACCP & GMP are not compromised




Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals
A proactive and enthusiastic attitude coupled with a great work ethic
Effective communication skills in speaking with cross functional teams
Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously and in a team
Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards the job
Willingness to work varying shifts as required.
