We are seeking a reliable and hardworkingFarm Operatorto join our compost farming operation.
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining equipment and property, and can work independently while following safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities
Operate earthmoving machinery, including loaders, excavators, and other farm equipment.
Receive and distribute feedstocks for composts from businesses within the waste industry.
Process, move, and manage compost materials.
Slash grass and maintain paddocks, roadways, and surrounding grounds.
Carry out general farm maintenance, including repairs, cleaning, and upkeep of machinery and infrastructure.
Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.




Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
Be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
Have experience operating earthmoving machinery safely and efficiently.
Be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Have valuable problem‐solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Hold a current driver's licence (essential).
Machinery tickets or previous experience in farming, composting, or landscaping will be highly regarded.
