We are seeking a dynamic and motivated
Clinical Nurse (Education)
with a passion for clinical teaching and facilitation. Our ideal candidate will have experience in Education and Perioperative Services specifically anaesthetics to join our Education Team at St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside. This is a permanent, part-time role of 36 hours (0.47 FTE) per fortnight.
Reporting to the Education Manager, the Clinical Nurse (Education) is a vital member of the multidisciplinary team, responsible for promoting clinical excellence and staff development. This role supports the department's vision of delivering evidence-based care through continuous learning and professional growth by addressing both organisational and learners' needs.
You will be responsible for all aspects of clinical education and training within anaesthetics, and work in close collaboration with other education team members across Perioperative and Procedural Services, embedded in an environment where a highly skilled multidisciplinary team provides day to day support. Your responsibilities will further include providing excellent person-centred development of staff, assessment of clinical skills, assisting with clinical education events within the Perioperative and Procedural Services environment, and support other education activities across both our Northside and Brisbane sites in collaboration with other members of the clinical education team, where required.

You have the following experiences and qualifications to be considered for the role:
Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Anaesthetics and/or Recovery
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a clinically-based education role (highly desirable)
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (current, and /or working towards)
Postgraduate qualification in clinical specialty (highly desirable, and/or working towards)
Postgraduate qualification in clinical teaching, and/or education in a healthcare setting, or equivalent (desirable)
Current Advanced Life Support Certification

REMUNERATION:
The position of Clinical Nurse (Education) in addition to our competitive salary packaging options, is a Classification/Grade with a base remuneration of $***** - $***** + superannuation based on experience level and relevant qualifications, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.
