About the Position
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced WHS Advisor to support the delivery of essential services across two major utility contracts with our client.
Based in Perth, you'll work closely with operational teams to drive safety, compliance and continuous improvement, with occasional travel to remote sites for audits and stakeholder engagement while helping maintain high WHS standards across Water Corporation and Horizon Power projects.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate monthly WHS meetings, reporting, incident notifications and assurance activities across client contracts.
Manage worker onboarding, inductions, training compliance and maintain the Training Matrix.




Review and maintain WHS documentation, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with client and legislative requirements.
Conduct internal management system and project audits, while supporting external audits and assurance activities.
Liaise with contractors, supervisors and workers to promote a strong safety culture and provide advice on WHS matters and PPE requirements.
Experience Required
Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum).
Previous experience in a WHS Advisor or similar HSEQ role within utilities, construction or infrastructure.
Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and safety management systems.
Experience conducting audits, inspections and assurance activities.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build solid working relationships.
Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience with Horizon Power, Western Power, UGL, Thiess, Energex or another electrical network operator is highly regarded.
