We are seeking an experienced and driven Service Technician QLD to join our friendly team.

About the chance:

You will provide our customers, internal departments and suppliers with excellent technical and customer support by consistently delivering a high-quality service.

Roles and responsibilities
Work in a team based approach with all employees of Select Equip to deliver a unified customer-focused service to all customers
Work co-operatively and use initiative to ensure the Service Department achieves its goals under the direction of the State Service Manager QLD and National Technical Operations Manager
Service and maintenance of the above equipment.
Fault finding and testing of equipment.
Equipment trials (in-house and onsite)
Providing Service Reports and feedback to customers and suppliers
Maintaining Service Contracts
Assist other departments of Select Equip




Drive Sales of spare parts, Service Contracts and Uptime products

Skills and experience
Practical experience in service and maintaining industrial electrical and mechanical equipment and systems
Food industry experience
Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines and to work under pressure
Ability to understand electrical and schematic drawings
Must be able to travel local, interstate and overseas at short notice and work weekends when required
Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
Enthusiasm, initiative, self-motivation, and a results oriented approach to work
Ability to contribute to team goals, development and motivation
Computer literate – word, excel, email, PowerPoint, etc.
Completed Year 12 or Equivalent years of working Experience
Experience in Packaging Automation Equipment (desirable)
PLC programming experience and Electronics training(desirable)
