TOBCO is looking for an experiencedSenior Estimatorto join our growing team.
This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing the estimating function and delivering accurate and competitive tenders.
About the role:
Lead and mentor junior estimators and oversee estimating resources.
Manage tenders for new projects and subcontractor variations.
Complete quantity take-offs and obtain pricing for labour, materials and equipment.
Review project scopes, documentation and commercial terms.
Prepare accurate estimates using first-principles estimating and industry benchmarks.
Identify project risks and ensure pricing is commercially sound.
Prepare and review tender non-priced documentation, methodologies, programs and submission requirements.
Attend client meetings and site visits as required.
Work closely with Directors, Project Managers,



Engineers and the delivery team.
Support successful tender handovers and ongoing project delivery.
About you:
Previous experience in HV Substations, Solar/BESS Renewables, Industrial Electrical Projects is desirable.
Strong understanding of estimating and quantity surveying principles.
Good commercial awareness and understanding of project risks.
Solid communication and leadership skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Engineering, Construction Management or related qualification preferred but not essential.
