We're looking for a detail-focused accountsprofessional to join a highly respected, national company for an initial temporary assignment until the end of September!

What's on Offer:
Competitive hourly rate of $39 p/h + super
Monday to Friday, full-time hours
Temporary position until end of September, with the possibility of extension
Convenient Northmead location - on-site parking (full-time in the office)
Supportive and skilled accounting environment
Develop your experience in the use of Xero and become a subject matter expert for upcoming projects
What You'll Be Doing:




Managing the full accounts payable cycle: invoice processing, coding, and approvals
Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to swiftly resolve payment queries
Reconciling supplier statements and assisting with month-end close activities
Processing corporate credit card and bank reconciliations
Supporting intercompany journals and a range of general finance duties
Maintaining meticulous AP records to ensure compliance and support audits
What You'll Bring:
At least 2 years' experience in Accounts Payable or Assistant Accountant roles
Solid understanding of AP processes and financial systems - bonus points for Xero experience!
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence with Microsoft Excel and finance software
A proactive mindset and a dedication to delivering quality work
