Join Our Team as an Airline Baggage Handler at Western Sydney Airport
We are looking for dynamic individuals to join our Airport Operations team as an Airline Baggage Handler.
This role is crucial in maintaining seamless flight operations through safe, efficient, and accurate baggage handling.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Load and unload passenger baggage, cargo, and mail according to airline procedures.
Sort and transport baggage based on flight schedules and destinations.
Operate ground support equipment safely and efficiently.
Conduct pre-use checks and report equipment defects.
Ensure correct weight distribution and secure baggage loading.
Adhere to safety,



security, and regulatory standards.
Communicate with team members and flight crews effectively.
Manage special items including oversized and fragile goods.
Report and handle incidents regarding damaged or delayed baggage.
Working Conditions:
Role involves repetitive lifting and handling of items up to 32 kg.
Work indoors and outdoors in varied weather and noise conditions.
Shift-based work including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Physical capability to perform demanding tasks.
