Position Overview:
As a Part time Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for our patients. You will be responsible for greeting and assisting patients, scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and maintaining accurate patient records. This position requires excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients with a warm and friendly demeanour
Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and provide information to patients
Verify and update patient information in the electronic medical records system
Assist with billing and insurance-related tasks
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure a smooth patient experience
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical receptionist role is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Robust organisational and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Work Schedule:
This is a part-time position, with a flexible schedule of 3 days a week. Working hours may vary, and some flexibility may be required based on the needs of the medical practice.
