BITZER Australia is seeking an experienced and practical Warehouse Supervisor to support the day-to-day operations of our warehouse.
About the opportunity
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will support the Supply Chain Manager by coordinating warehouse operations, managing workflow, and providing day-to-day guidance to the Warehouse team.
You will ensure goods are received, labelled, stored, picked, packed, dispatched, and accurately recorded in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting and coordinating the team in the accurate and timely distribution of products.
Allocating daily warehouse priorities across receivals, dispatch, production kits, freight bookings and stock movements.
Overseeing the loading and unloading of goods from containers and vehicles.
Ensuring inward and outward goods are sorted, labelled, recorded and processed correctly in the ERP system.
Supporting inventory accuracy by ensuring stock is organised in the correct warehouse locations and accurately reflected in D365.
Coordinating inbound goods, including domestic and imported deliveries.
Overseeing freight bookings and liaising with freight providers as required.
Ensuring urgent warehouse, production and shipping matters are prioritised and actioned efficiently.
Supporting cycle counts, stocktake activities and the investigation or escalation of stock discrepancies.
Leading by example in relation to WHS, safe work practices, housekeeping and 5S standards.
Supporting toolbox discussions, team communication and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you can bring
Experience in a warehouse, distribution centre, logistics or manufacturing environment.
Previous experience supervising, coordinating or providing day-to-day guidance to a warehouse or operational team.
Strong practical understanding of receivals, dispatch, inventory control, stock movements, freight coordination and warehouse housekeeping.
Experience using ERP, warehouse management or inventory systems, preferably D365, SAP or similar.
A Forklift Licence, High Reach Licence, experience in a manufacturing or technical product environment
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
Strong planning, prioritisation and organisational skills.
High attention to detail and a commitment to accurate follow-through.
A practical, calm and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
