We're on the lookout for a hands-on Workshop Supervisor to lead daily operations for a well-established RV rental company in Christchurch. This is a great chance for an experienced mechanic ready to take on leadership responsibilities.
You’ll work closely with the Workshop Manager to keep the fleet running at peak performance, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. You’ll also play a key role in guiding and supporting a team of technicians in a modern, well-equipped workshop.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day workshop operations and job allocation
Perform and supervise servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
Ensure fleet meets compliance, including valid COFs
Maintain high health, safety, and cleanliness standards
Mentor and support a team of technicians
Work collaboratively with management to improve workshop performance

Competitive hourly rate of $38-$42
Time and a half for all hours over 45 per week and time plus a quarter for any hours between 40 and 45

About you
Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Mechanic
Proven ability to lead, mentor, or step into a senior role
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
