Due to continued growth, we’re seeking an experienced Head Spray Painter to lead our spray-painting operations.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position overseeing the spray-painting process from preparation through to final quality checks. You’ll work closely with our team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming
Mix and apply industrial coatings using airless and conventional spray equipment
Maintain consistently high- quality finishes across all projects
Lead and mentor workshop staff and apprentices
Coordinate daily workflow and meet production deadlines




Conduct quality inspections before completed work leaves the workshop
Maintain spray equipment and ensure the workshop remains clean and organised
Follow and promote all Workplace Health & Safety procedures

About You

To succeed, you’ll bring:
Minimum 4 years’ experience as an industrial or automotive spray painter
Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
White Card (preferred)
Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current driver’s license
A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Bonus Skills:
Forklift license
Working at Heights, Confined Space or EWP tickets
Abrasive blasting experience
