We are seeking an experienced, compassionate and highly motivatedRegistered Nurseto join our growing team.
Working alongside our dermatologists and experienced administrative team, you will play an integral role in delivering outstanding patient care and helping patients achieve the very best outcomes.
This is initially acasual position, with the opportunity to transition into apermanent part-time role (minimum 34 hours per week)for the right candidate.
We are looking for someone seeking astable, long‐term careerrather than short‐term employment.
About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding clinical role combining patient care, procedural nursing and clinical support.
Working directly alongside our dermatologists, you will assist with consultations, surgical procedures, laser treatments and nurse‐led therapies, while ensuring every patient receives a warm, professional and seamless experience.
Comprehensive training and mentoring will be provided, allowing you to develop advanced dermatology nursing skills within a supportive specialist environment.
About You
You are a caring and enthusiastic Registered Nurse who enjoys working in a fast‐paced specialist practice where attention to detail and patient experience are equally important.
You are organised, proactive and enjoy anticipating the needs of both patients and clinicians.
You take pride in your work, communicate confidently, maintain professionalism and privacy, and thrive within a collaborative team.

Current AHPRA registration as aRegistered Nurse
Previous experience indermatology, skin cancer, plastic surgery or cosmetic medicine
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks
High attention to detail
Professional presentation and compassionate patient manner
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to the team
Laser Safety Licence (or willingness to obtain one)
Experience assisting with skin surgery and excisions
Experience with procedural nursing
Experience using Best Practice or similar medical software
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients and consulting rooms for medical, surgical and laser procedures.
Assist dermatologists during consultations and procedures, including:
maintaining sterile fields
specimen preparation
wound care
Educate patients regarding pre‐operative and post‐operative care, skincare and treatment plans.
Perform nurse‐led treatments, including laser procedures, chemical peels and other therapies (following training and competency assessment).
Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
Coordinate surgical bookings, recalls, follow‐up appointments, consent documentation and quotations.
Maintain high infection control and sterilisation standards.
Ensure compliance with AHPRA standards, laser licensing requirements and clinic policies.
Assist with general clinical and administrative duties as required.
Contribute positively to a supportive, patient‐centred team culture.
